Between non-fiction and large print..

Thanks to all the folk at Ely library for hosting the wonderful Samhain Craft fair. I arrived a little late and proceeded to set up my table. One of the first things I did was log on to the WiFi and ITV to tune into the second half of the All Blacks v All Whites game. As an Irishman it pains me to say it but well done to the English team, an awesome display of rugby and also the busiest my stall was all day as people dropped by to check on the score.

The rest of the day was a little quiet but I enjoyed the charming company of the ladies around me, some of whom were from March, not time travellers, but card makers from south Cambridgeshire. I said I’d sadly only ever been to the crematorium there but they assured me there were other attractions. There’s a high security prison where some of the inmates had escaped in the first week using a ladder they had made in the woodwork class.

Later had a lovely slice of cake from one of the other stalls and several cups of tea and dreamt up a “Get Breakfast done” design for a t-shirt perhaps, watch this space..
